The Sound of Green

He was driving and I was holding a camera to the sky and we played music on the radio
while the green world danced all around us. When the sun melted down into the ocean
we scooped up all the warm parts and brought that moment back home with us to cling to
on the days when he missed the garbage truck or I locked the keys in the car.

We haven't had that moment for very long but we've put it to good use at least three times a week since then and I'll never forget the sound of green anymore or the look of a sun-kissed sky melting away into an ocean because we cling to that moment so often these days that it has just simply become part of the family.
